Musculoskeletal Oncology
Our Musculoskeletal Oncology Division is located at our South San Francisco and Oakland Medical Centers.
Specialists within this division have special training in diagnosing and operating on patients with benign or malignant tumors of musculoskeletal system. In coordination with other oncologic experts, they provide the full spectrum of care from biopsy to surgical management and also surveillance.
The latest surgical treatments are available and limb salvage techniques are utilized whenever possible. By working closely with both medical and radiation oncologists, they are able to provide the comprehensive care for your condition.
For those diagnosed with cancer, psychological support is available from the clinical psychologists affiliated with the department.
