Our Multidisciplinary Pediatric Cancer Survivor Clinic
The multidisciplinary pediatric cancer survivor clinic is for pediatric cancer survivors who are at two and five years after completing treatment. Patients are referred to the clinic by their physicians.
Location and Hours
It is held in the Pediatric Oncology Clinic and is a place to discuss and evaluate the healthcare needs of your child. A written plan of care, specific to your child, will be created by the team and mailed to you in the days following your appointment.
Expected length of visit is approximately 2 hours.
Purpose
The purpose of the clinic is to provide comprehensive care for pediatric cancer survivors and their families. This clinic is based on the Long-Term Follow- Up Guidelines for Survivors of Childhood, Adolescent, and Young Adult Cancers published by the Children’s Oncology Group.
During the Visit
Patients will have the opportunity to meet with professionals from different fields working together.
