Food and nutrition

A study published in 1981 by Doll and Peto estimated that 35% of cancer death may be preventable by alterations in diet. Diet may influence risk of cancer in many different ways.

There is good evidence that a diet rich in vegetables, fruits and other plant-based foods may decrease the risk of certain cancers.
