Men and infertility:
Fertility is often an issue for young men who are about to undergo radiation therapy to the lower pelvic area or chemotherapy.

      • This is especially common in men with testicular cancer
      • Unfortunately, most men with testicular cancer are usually young with the desire to have children later in life.

Sperm banking:

Many young male patients use sperm banking prior to starting pelvic radiation therapy or chemotherapy.

Sperm banking is usually not covered by insurance.
Lance Armstrong Foundation may assist some patients financially and cover part of the expense for you if you apply and get approved.
